Acceptable Use Policy


Definitions


In this document, the following words have these meanings:


“Ozot”, “We”, “Us”, “Our” means Ozot (ABN 57 619 004 009).

“You”, “Your”, “Customer(s)”, or “User(s)” means a “Subscriber” to the Service(s).

“Sub-User(s)” means a User of the Subscribers local area network that isn’t the Subscriber.

“Service(s)”, “Subscription(s)” means any product(s) or service(s) the Customer has ordered for use.

“TaC” means Terms and Conditions.

“SLA” means Service Level Agreement.

“AUP” means Acceptable Use Policy.

“Agreement(s)” means “TaC”, “SLA”, “AUP”, and “Privacy Policy”.

“Website” means Ozot.com.au



Law


You as a Subscriber to our Service(s) will follow Australian Law when using our Service(s). You as a User or any Sub-User of our Service(s) are solely responsible for following the Australian Law when using our Service(s) and will be solely responsible for any incriminating or illegal use of our Service(s).



Spamming


Subscribers may not send unsolicited bulk messages over the Internet and must comply with all relevant legislation and regulations on bulk and commercial email, including the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 and the Australian Anti-Spam Legislation 2004.



Unauthorised Access


Accessing, illegally or without authorization, computers, accounts or networks belonging to another party, or attempting to penetrate security measures of another individual’s system is not permitted.

Accessing, or illegally or without authorization our equipment installed at your premises is not permitted. This means trying to physically access our equipment, connect into our equipment remotely, or using vulnerabilities or exploits to access our equipment is not permitted.



Harmful Distribution


Distributing information regarding the creation of and sending internet worms, viruses, trojan horses, flooding, email-bombing, distributed denial of service, denial of service, vulnerability, or exploit attacks in not permitted. Any activity that disrupts the use of or interferes with the ability of others to effectively use the network or any connected network, systems, Service(s) or equipment. Any activity that disrupts the use of or interferes with the ability of other Subscribers to effectively use the network or any connected network, systems, Service(s) or equipment. An activity that disrupts the use of or interferes with the ability of Ozot to effectively use the network, or any connected network, systems, Service(s) or equipment.



Infringement


Use of our Service(s) to transmit any material that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary rights of any third party, including, but not limited to, the unauthorised copying of copyrighted material, the digitization and distribution of photographs from magazines, books, or other copyrighted sources, and the unauthorised transmittal of copyrighted software.



Sensitive Data


Use of our Service(s) to collect, or attempt to collect, personal information about third parties without their knowledge or consent is the violation of this Acceptable Use Policy.



Accountability


Ozot Subscribers will be solely responsible and accountable for any activity by third parties, using their account, which violates guidelines created with this Acceptable Use Policy.
